Two cockroaches cause the trouble around Altona. German cockroaches live in kitchens and behind appliances and breed fast in warm months. The big Australian and American cockroaches come up from stormwater drains and subfloors, especially after rain, and sit in laundries and bathrooms.
For German cockroaches we use gel baits in the harbourages, behind the fridge, under the dishwasher, inside cupboard hinges, and a light dust in wall voids. For the outdoor species we treat the subfloor, drains, garage and the perimeter. Nothing is sprayed across benches or food areas.
You will see more cockroaches for a day or two as they leave the harbourages, then numbers drop over the fortnight. We will tell you what to move before we arrive and what to expect afterwards.
